Qatari Prince Get Away With Racing In Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills, California

Several Beverly Hills residents have video and photographic evidence of two sports cars racing on the streets of Beverly Hills (right).

Below is just one of the many videotaped evidence that shows how members of the Qatari royalty were driving their sports cars at high speeds, with reckless abandon, running stop signs and endangering lives in and around residential homes of one of the richest neighborhoods in the U.S.A.
And if you watch this video, it will also show one of the "alleged" drivers even threatening a "journalist".

Diplomatic Immunity

Police were called and they came. But as you may have deduced by now, they didn't do anything. The race car owners invoked diplomatic immunity. Yes, pretty much like that scene with Danny Grover and Mel Gibson in the movie Lethal Weapon 2, just not having a similar ending.

Qatar Royalty

I don't know about you but this is just plain incompetency if not (pardon the bluntness) cowardice and stupidity. Let's just call it as it is. We cannot enforce our laws in our land when very rich and powerful people are involved.

The LA Times just reported that the owner of the racing cars is Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al Thani of Qatar’s ruling family (a Qatari royalty, a prince).

News Conference

After this of course, the Chief of Police of Beverly Hills held a news conference and announced that the prince have fled the country, yes along with his expensive race cars. And the best part, no they do not have diplomatic immunity.

Yes, maybe Beverly Hills need another Detroit cop named Axel Foley.

Movie: Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

But like Lethal Weapon, this is only funny until somebody gets hurt. Luckily, nobody did.

Now the question moving forward is what do we now about this case? So many violations on record here and yes there is no diplomatic immunity, which by falsely claiming about having one to a police officer should be another violation, on top of the many major moving violations and the criminal threats -- which are all felonies.

Your guess is as good as mine.
